The Services are comprised of:
1. Call2Abroad UK Landline/wireline service
2. Call2Abroad UK mobile online top-up service
3. Call2Abroad UK mobile dial-through service
4. Call2Abroad Euro service
General – applies to all of The Services
Callers must ensure they have bill payer's permission before using The Services.
All calls to Call2Abroad access numbers are billed by your telephone line
provider at their relevant rates.
Calls are charged from time of connection to the The Services, so we advise
replacing the handset after a short period if your calls are engaged or
unanswered.
When calling from a mobile, remember to only press the call or send button after
dialling the access number but not again after dialling the destination number.
When reviewing the rates to Destinations, calls to mobile phones, premium rate
numbers and pagers are not included unless otherwise stated (usually listed
separately).
Call2Abroad reserves the right to terminate fraudulent calls.
The Services are provided subject to availability.
1. Call2Abroad UK Landline/wireline
service (marketed as “home/office landline” service)
Prices quoted on this web site are for calls made from standard BT landlines.
Whilst most other home landline providers charge the same as BT, we suggest
checking in advance with your provider (if it’s not BT).
Charges for calls made from mobile phones and other service providers may vary.
2. Call2Abroad UK mobile top-up service
(marketed as “mobile service” or “pay-as-you-go mobile service”)
Bill payers' permission must be obtained before sending a text message from a
mobile.
Text top-ups must be made from a valid UK mobile number. This is a
reverse-billed text service. The text message request is for a £5 top-up and
will be charged at your standard mobile operator's text rate. You receive a text
message back from us costing 500p which will be credited individually.
If premium text message barring is in operation on your mobile phone attempting
to text will not result in a top-up charge but you may be charged your mobile
operators standard text rate.
Charging for access numbers by your service provider is from the time of
connection to the service. The cost of calls to the 020 access number will be
charged at your standard mobile rate to a landline or can be used as part of
your mobile inclusive minutes. Your mobile phone service provider may charge for
access to “freephone” numbers and charge different rates for access via 0845
numbers.
Calling subject to availability and these terms are subject to change. Rates are
effective from 1-March-2009 and may change without prior notice. Calls are
charged per minute and call charges will be rounded to the nearest penny.
Remember to only press the call or send button after dialling the access number
but not again after dialling the destination number.
Calls made to mobiles may cost more, unless specifically mentioned in the
destination list. Calls to non-geographic numbers and foreign premium rate
numbers are charged at different rates to that of the country.
If a particular phone number account has had no topups for 90 days or more then
we reserve the right to close the account and zero any credit balance that may
be remaining. Topups made within 90 days of the previous topup extendes the
balance of the whole account by a further 90 days
3. Call2Abroad UK mobile dial-through service (marketed as “free calls
using your pay-monthly inclusive minutes”)
You need to have a pay monthly phone with cross-network minutes that includes
calls to our access number as part of the inclusive minutes bundle. If in doubt,
check with your network.
Ensure you dial the access number specific to your network.
Where calls are included, calls made by mobile phone contract users will utilise
inclusive cross network minutes. When all inclusive minutes have been used,
calls will be charged at regular cross network call rates (subject to individual
mobile phone provider - some providers may charge for these calls - check in
advance).
When calling from a mobile, remember to only press the call or send button after
dialling the access number but not again after dialling the destination number.
It is up to you to check with your network whether calls to our access numbers
are included in your inclusive minutes - we advise checking prior to calling
Some countries are excluded from this service. The service provider operates
under Ofcom license.
4. Call2Abroad Euro service
You must use a credit card, debit card or have a PayPal account with more than
€5 credit in it, and an active mobile phone. Cost of topup will be charged at
€5, €10, €15 or €20 via your PayPal account or credit or debit card. A
confirmation text informing you that your mobile has been charged with the
requested topup amount will be sent shortly thereafter. Calls will disconnect
once the credit is finished and a new topup request will have to be made for a
further topup. Topup daily limit is €20, monthly limit is €40. Credit lasts for
six months from date of top up.
Cost of calls to the Call2Abroad access number will be charged at your standard
landline or mobile rate to a landline or can be used as part of your landline or
mobile inclusive minutes.
Cost of calls to any freefone access number will incur a rate surcharge per
minute (as displayed next to the freefone access number on this web site).
Calls are charged per minute. Prices are subject to changed without prior notice
(you are always advised of your balance and minutes remaining prior to any call
connecting).
Calls made to mobile destinations may cost more, unless specifically mentioned
in the destination list. A connection charge of 5 eurocents is charged per call.
Some countries are excluded from this service.
Tips
- You should call our access number from a local phone, eg. if you are in Spain,
call our Spanish access number from a Spanish landline or mobile; if you are in
the Germany, call our Germany access number from a Germany landline or mobile
- Only press the call button when dialling the access number, not
again after entering the international number
- Top up only at the Call2Abroad Euro top up page

Call2Abroad collects data when you use the Call2Abroad web site at
